Your tasks
- Use information systems protection tools to continuously monitor and analyze system activity to detect malicious activity.
- Analyze network traffic to identify unwanted and potentially dangerous content for network resources.
- Providing timely detection, identification and notification of potential cyber-attacks, anomalies, and system misuse activities
- Document incidents that could harm the defined environment.
- Creating daily reports on monitored network events and activities relevant to the protection of information systems.
- Processing incidents and restoring normal operations, including coordination of actions and status improvements.

Required qualifications
Required qualifications
- EU-Citizenship and work permit Austria
- Education in the IT field with a focus on cybersecurity, preferably at the college level.
- 2-5 years of experience within IT/IT-Security
- Knowledge of IT/OT infrastructure/network
- Analytical thinking and attention to detail
- English B2 and German A2 (written and spoken)
- Willingness to work in a team, good interpersonal and communication skills.

- Cybersecurity certifications (e.g. SANS or other relevant certifications)
- Extensive experience in working with tools to protect information systems (firewall, IDS/IPS, SIEM)
- Knowledge of server administration
- Proven track record in providing technical support.
- In-depth knowledge of cyber security and data protection principles
- Strong understanding of cyber threats and vulnerabilities
- Familiarity with security assessment tools and techniques and information systems protection tools
- Knowledge of network availability and activity (Network Traffic Analysis (NTA))
- Deep understanding of network protocols
- Ability to stay focused in high-pressure situations.
